Covington is excited to welcome Hanieh Moghadam, Ph.D., who joins the firm as the newest Coastal Engineer to support our coastal and waterfront services.
Hanieh brings more than 12 years of experience in coastal and water resources engineering, numerical modeling, and metocean analysis — including storm surge and wave modeling, sediment transport, and coastal morphology analysis for agencies such as USACE, BOEM, and NCDOT. Her expertise includes state-of-the-art coastal modeling tools like DHI MIKE, Delft3D, and ADCIRC across harbor, marine energy, restoration, and coastal infrastructure projects.
Her expertise adds new depth to better serve the coastal communities we work in.
